Seven Poems of Stillness is a work by Welsh composer Hilary Tann. Tann now resides in upstate New York where she is Professor of Music at Union College, Schenectady. This release features one of the UK s finest Cellists, Guy Johnston, and archival recordings of the Welsh poet R. S Thomas reading his own poetry. The work was premiered at Manafon Church, Wales, (R S Thomas was rector at this church) and was commissioned by the Gregynog Festival.
