If you're looking at buying an album,CD or whatever by The Dubliners called SEVEN DRUNKEN NIGHTS you gotta look at the songs or tracks, because, even here on Amazon there are several listed and they are not all the same.Even the picture on the cover can mislead you (same picture but different songs). However,if it's your first,it really doesn't matter,'cause they are all excellent.I am writing this Review on a vinyl LP that is exactly like the photo shown, including the pink haze across the water in the background. There are no publication dates on the album itself or cover. It was published by the Fiesta Record Company,New York, and carries a number FLPS1675.I would have guessed it was issued about 1964,but according to this listing it was 1974. If you want to know a bit more about the Dubliners, check out my Reviews on THE DUBLINERS IN SESSION Jan 31,2014 and THE DUBLINERS IN CONCERT Jan 27,2014. The tracks are listed here for this LP,but others of the same title may or may not list them I hope I haven't completely confused you on all this. Just to make sure ,I'll list the tracks on this LP.They are all Traditional songs and are commonly heard at any Irish concert or show,in pubs,or wherever Irish musicians gather to play; SEVEN DRUNKEN NIGHTS THE GALWAY RACES THE OLD ALARM CLOCK COLONEL FRASER & O'ROURKE'S REEL THE RISING OF THE MOON MCCAFFERTY I'M A ROVER WEILA WAILE THE TRAVELLING PEOPLE LIMERICK RAKE ZOOLOGICAL GARDENS THE FAIRMOYE LASSES AND SPORTING PARTY BLACK VELVET BAND POOR PADDY ON THE RAILWAY.
