One of several items under intimate apparel I've bought from Amazon, and so far this is the best.The (L)arge Red Lace Boyshort fits snuggly on a 29" waist (they recommend a smaller (M)edium for 29"--but go up a tick like other reviewers mentioned), the material has been surprisingly solid for me, it has been through about twenty-ish machine washes (no delicate items bag) in the last four months of ownership without unraveling or tearing. I will mention that other reviewers haven't had as much luck with durability! The elastic on the waist isn't any looser, there is some widening around the thighs (it is okay elastic, not magic).Yes the crotch opening is somewhat wide compared to the photo (I personally found other items had too small of an opening), and it would be nice if they'd show that--if they want to avoid a human model, this is what fashion dummies are for! Anyway, I appreciated that the opening was wide and long enough to provide access to all areas.Now, decent material is nice (and the texture is comfortable), but does it stay in place? This is so far the only crotchless item I've picked up where I can say that it stays put during activity pretty well. It can be moved sure, but the slippage is minor, exactly what I was looking for, minimal distracting wedgies! I imagine that for a different butt it wouldn't fit as well (say, you have the same sized waist but a slimmer shape in back, or if you're super gifted), but for a slightly protruding shape it was very nice.I'm pleased.
