I don't normally wear patent leather shoes. However, I wanted to try these boots. The color looked amazing online. I wear a size 9 but I have wide feet and large calves. I purchased a 9 1/2 so that I could have extra room. The shoes fit fine on the bottom but were snug on my lower legs due to my large calves. Given that the boots are patent leather, I didn't think that they would stretch. I really love the design and color. I had to return the boots because they were not comfortable. I'm considering purchasing a size 10 to see if I can get more room.
