Saw this many years ago and so many scenes stuck with me through the years. This movie has been "around the block" and beyond because it was filmed in 1950. Who would have thought that in 2019 it would still hold up as a great British thriller?Great scenes of London and the people of 1950 London. Acting is quite timely and as an American, I loved the British setting and the unstoppable camera on a race across London to find Professor Willingdon and his bomb.Loved the characters who were authentically British and for an American, so original and unforgettable! While Barry Jones was terrific, I really related with Olive Sloane whose humor and humanity add so much to the movie. The movie held my interest throughout and while I am an Anglophile, I loved the human tapestry that the movie presented. The print is outstanding and the richness of the print added to its modernity. Don't miss this movie!
